Our Venue, Our Canvas

Our venue, although full of rustic charm, is like a canvas, awaiting the strokes of love, emotions, and creativity that a couple brings to it. For this wedding back in August, we transformed our new ceremony area known as the ponds into a magical oasis, with winding paths lined with wild flowers. Our Iron Arch in the barn was decorated with drapes and the most wonderful array of dark purple and red flowers from Zennor Wild. The couple were legally married in the barn before heading to the ponds for a hand fasting ceremony. The scene was set for an unforgettable day and evening of love and celebration.

The Initial Consultation

It all begins with that very first meeting when a couple walks through our doors, full of hope and dreams. For this couple, the journey was equally magical. The bride, a true romantic at heart, wanted a venue that would match the fairy tale wedding she had always envisioned. From the moment she stepped into our venue, she knew it was the one. With twinkling eyes, she described her vision of an enchantment and medieval themes, and we were more than excited to make it a reality.

Months of Planning and Preparation Countless hours were dedicated to planning and preparation, with our wedding coordinator/manager, Alisha working closely with the couple to ensure every detail was just as they had imagined. From selecting the colour scheme to curating the menu, the process was a labor of love, and we watched it all unfold.

The Décor

On the day of the wedding, we watched in awe as the garden transformed. Our team worked tirelessly to bring the bride's vision to life. As a team, the family delicately hung bunting from the beams, arranged exquisite floral arrangements, and set up a wonderful space in the Marquee which could be enjoyed by adults and children alike. The bride's excitement was palpable as she took a final walk through the venue before the big day.

The Ceremony

As the ceremony began, we held our breath in anticipation. The bride, radiant in her dreamy gown, made her grand entrance down the aisle. Her Bridesmaids, beaming with pride, lead the way. The groom, waiting beneath the floral arch, was visibly moved by her beauty and grace.

Their vows were heartfelt and filled with promises of eternal love. We watched as the couple exchanged rings, their smiles and loving glances capturing the essence of their journey together. It was a moment that we will always cherish.

The Reception

The reception was a joyous celebration of love. The Ponds, now bathed in the warm glow of evening, was the perfect setting for sunset photos. The tables were adorned with elegant runners, varying candelabras, and a mixture of jam jar flowers. As the guests enjoyed a delicious feast, toasts were made in honor of the newlyweds, and the bride and groom shared their first dance as a married couple.
