Kizamba is Cornwall’s premier Latin & Afro-Caribbean good vibes band. Since 2021, these talented multi-instrumentalists from West Cornwall have been sharing their deep love of Afro-Caribbean beats and sounds and delighting audiences up and down the county. Kizamba aims to take the audience on a unique musical journey through South and Central America, the Caribbean islands and up into the Latin neighborhoods of North America where Latin rhythms met jazz and soul.
Their setlist is an intoxicating mixture of high-energy Afro-Cuban salsa, Colombian cumbia, Latin jazz, boogaloo, bachata, Brazilian samba, bossa nova, famous reggae, calypso and soca tunes that will get everyone singing along. Their music is pure tropical sunshine and absolutely guaranteed to get people on the dancefloor!
The 7-piece have been a consistent highlight of the Cornish gig circuit and have cultivated a loyal following within the vibrant salsa community. They have drawn large crowds of music lovers at festivals like Golowan, Tropical Pressure and Rock Oyster.
